Grant Cameron's large UFO archives include numerous copies of issues of "The Woodrew Update" newsletter. These newsletters are now very rare and hard to find. (Indeed, there is a thread on Reddit which appears to suggest Greta Woodrew "never existed" outside a couple of books).
Thanks to the helpful and extensive scanning by Grant Cameron (and permission kindly granted to me by Greta Woodrew's daughter, Jill Smolowe), many issues of "The Woodrew Update" newsletter are now online for the first time.
Greta Woodrew's book "On A Slide Of Light" includes a claim that she was "hailed as one of the workd's leading psychics" and that her "contributions to quantum physics are acknowledged by researchers around the globe". That book contained a summary of her work with Dr Andrija Puharich and her purported "channeling" of messages from "extraterrestrials", including predictions of environmental disasters facing humanity.
Expressing views which are still echoed in some modern UFO discussions over 40 years later, her book "On A Slide Of Light" (1981) included hopes the government in the USA may "become more open" and, while the USA "seems to be dragging its feet", she considered "things are moving along". In particular, she commented that "There are universities that are beginning to include UFOlogy in their curriculums" and there was hope that President Carter would make information about UFOs available to the public.
